Leave and Time-off Procedures

Lab members are expected to use their vacation time and to report all leave in MyTime. Enter leave before the absence when possible, or at the time of leave if the absence is unanticipated.

Reporting guidance

  • Vacation is reported in MyTime as vacation - scheduled.

  • Sick leave is reported in MyTime as sick - scheduled.

  • MyTime determines whether vacation is drawn from floating or holiday leave balances where applicable.

  • Submit leave for the entire month by the 20th of that month whenever possible, including expected leave during the remaining days.
